Adventures
The images in the galleries tell part of the story. This section tells the rest.
Landscape photography in Tasmania is not a passive pursuit. It means pre-dawn starts on dark mountain tracks, camping in places most people never reach, waiting out rain and wind for hours, and occasionally getting it completely wrong. It also means being present for moments that feel almost impossible – a sky on fire, the southern lights moving overhead, mist lifting off a mountain range at exactly the right second.
This is where those stories live. Field notes, behind the scenes, the images that almost didn’t happen, and the ones that took years of showing up before the conditions finally aligned.
