Photography Workshops in Tasmania
Learn photography where it actually happens
These workshops are about slowing down, spending time in wild places, and learning photography the way it was meant to be learned – in the field, not in a classroom.
I’ve spent over two decades photographing Tasmania’s wild places, and I lead these workshops the same way I approach my own work – with patience, curiosity, and a genuine love for being out there. You won’t get a lecture. You’ll get time in remarkable places, with someone who knows how to read light, find compositions, and make the most of whatever conditions show up.
Whether you’re picking up a camera for the first time or looking to push your landscape work further, the focus is always the same – slow down, observe more, and connect with where you are.
What's included
- Small groups – never more than 6 participants
- Field-based learning at iconic and off-the-beaten-track Tasmanian locations
- Sunrise and sunset sessions when light is at its best
- One-on-one guidance on composition, exposure, and reading light
- Post-processing tips and workflow advice
- A relaxed pace focused on experience, not rushing through a checklist
- All skill levels welcome – from beginners to experienced photographers
